Praise Report: Our first annual golf tournament fundraiser at the beautiful Miler Country Club was a huge success thanks to our sponsors, golfers and volunteers.
Praise Report: Met Dawn from Texas on the Internet when she contacted us about donating two handmade American Flag saddle pads for the NARHA Horses for Heroes therapeutic riding program. She made them herself. When she found out we did not have a website, she volunteered her time and talent to build our beautiful website. Check out her website for saddle pads and horse supplies. http://rc9chc.com.
Praise Report: H.I.S. Ministries presented the NARHA Horses for Heroes therapeutic riding program at the South Carolina State NARHA meeting in Bluffton, South Carolina. SSGT. Weil, United States Air Force, was on hand to share his personal testimony of serving in the military while deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Again, thank you Daniel for your service to our country and for the sacrifices you and your family have made.
PRAISE REPORTS FOR 2008: through the prayers of the saints, we had favor with God and with man….
Praise Report: Over 60 children received God’s greatest gift when they heard the presentation of the gospel and invited Jesus into their heart at one of our “Halter Calls” at Hope Assembly of God, a Church without Walls Ministry, Youth Empowerment Services, New Journey Church, Ridge Baptist Church, and Fellowship of Oakbrook.
Praise Report: God hand picked each one of our Board of Directors and anointed them to establish H.I.S. Ministries as a 501 (c) (3) and a therapeutic riding program.
Praise Report: Brenda, a consultant for 501 (c) (3) organizations, and has helped many gain their tax exempt status, donated her time to assist us with all the paperwork that is involved with becoming a 501 (c) (3).
Praise Report: We submitted our 501 (c) (3) paperwork, after much prayer, in July of 2008, and received our award letter in September of 2008. Two months!
Praise Report: Met Tom and Joyce while on vacation in Jamestown, Tennessee and they donated so much horse equipment, we’ll have to build a new barn. And if that was not enough, they donated the use of there Private Mountain Getaway for our Strategic Planning Session in July of 2009. Tom and Joyce bless pastors and their families by providing this mountain getaway at no charge to pastors, their families, and missionaries. Please see their website at www.privatemountaingetaway.com.
Praise Report: Met Gary and Dorothy while on vacation in Jamestown, Tennessee and they donated their beautiful white Arabian mare to the NARHA Horses for Heroes therapeutic riding program. Her new name is Faith and she is a horse for heroes.
Praise Report: SSGT. Weil, United States Air Force, organized a group of men from the Charleston Air Force Base, Charleston, South Carolina, to come out and mend fencing, build a wash rack and a riding ring. His family along with the neighborhood kids built a mounting ramp for the NARHA Horses for Heroes therapeutic riding program. To all the men who came out that day: THANK YOU for your service to our country and for the sacrifices you and your families have made.
Praise Report: We established our volunteer training program and had a fantastic turnout of volunteers who want to faithfully serve the Lord in this ministry. We believe that God will provide many additional volunteers in 2009.
